Science
Biome Exploration: create a presentation about your biome, a hypothesis of what an animal needs to survive in the biome and a never before seen animal that would be able to survive in the biome.  Justify your animals attributes and how it meets your hypothesis.

Math
Proportions: create a road trip using only a map of America, calculate the total cost of rental car, gas, food and hotel expenses for your trip.  End product should include a day by day itinerary and itemized budget. Justify all your choices using pre-algebra logic.

Social Studies
Current Events: choose, research and creatively present findings for a current environmental issue.  Make sure to include facts, the problems it causes and student made solutions for how to fix the issue.

Language Arts/ELD
Descriptive, informative and persuasive Writing: Integrated learning from unit on penguins to write individual student books about penguins.  Writing should be descriptive and informative and include a page that convinces the reader that penguins would make the perfect pet.
